Why should there be such a big row over this issue? it is pathetic to see that Hindus themselves wants to blow up this issue for gaining cheap popularity. If the Devaswom has done something wrong,or denied a Hindu of his right to enter the temple,it should be solved tactfully and not make it a big issue, which in turn'll dent Hinduism and it's beliefs.
Do we find any such issues cropping up from any other community,eg: Christianity.Even though there are internal tensions and problems among them, they do not publicise it,instead they solve early and easily still retaining the name and fame of the church or the community. What we find in the Guruvayoor issue is each one is trying pull each other's leg.Ultimately they do not understand that it is Hinduism that's suffering the blow.

Sreejith see the opnion of Shri. PKS Raja "My personal opinion is that the whole affair is unfortunate; it could have been managed much better. Everyone appears to have acted in haste, and the issue has led to unnecessary confrontation and controversy, which is sad."
When the head priest entertained the devotees wish it was the entire responsibility to maitain the faith of the devotees. How himself gave the Shudhikalasham wide publicity?
Therefore, let the devotees put their pain before the Lord Krishna.

If Mr.Ravikrishna was denied as his mother is a christian, there's another point to be noted. Then howcome we see foreigners inside the temple in the name of reasearch and study. Are they following the rules and life of a Hndu? they are given a relaxation since its a source of revenue to the temple.
while Ravikrishna has lived the life of a Hindu,he is denied darshan. This looks like whole issue is aimed at satisfying vested interests and as an opportuinity by some to downsize some specific people.
Dewaswom should not see Temple darshan and activities as a "business" instead it should be viewed as "service". At this juncture the Vaavar(Muslim)diety at Sabarimala can be questioned.
Why should we Hindus pray and place a Muslim in a Temple. So the whole Guruvayoor issue is a foul play for taking revenge on some.

Our Thunchathu Aryapadar wrote in thy Harinamakeerthanam:
KASTAM BHAVANE YORU PANDIAN BHAJICHCHALAV- AGASTYENA NEE BATA SHAPIPPICHATHENTINIHA, NAKRENA KAALKATHA KATIPPICHCHATENTINATU- MORKKAVATHALLA HARI NARAYANAYA NAMAH.

I understand, finally we can only discuss and debate. As we cannot get the general public to get to read this rediff forum and take cue from this,ha..ha.
Let us hope that Guruvayoor still retains its sanctity and does not get trampled due to this filthy issue. Hindus themselves should hav love for their religion and safeguard their temples and beleifs. Jai Guruvayoorappan!

Yes, let Guruvayoorappan may heel the wounds of Mr. Vayalar Ravi and family caused followed by his grandsons Annaprasham ceremony. At this juncture me invite the readers to read the column of Kettatum Kelkattatum: Mathrubhumi last week by Dr. Sukumar Azhikkode.
Over and above, we need very many radical changes now in our Religion. We would count that now nobody in our state as suppressed. Each person has his/her self respect and others too have to admire it.
We are easily closing our eyes to see the exact phenomenon of the present. Please not feel bad to say about the system of the past of our Shabari Mala temple too.
Before a half century or so Keralites suffered very much to visit the serene of Sbhabarimala through the wild forests, so knowingly avoided ladies Whereas, now the situation has totally been changed. Eventhough, uneasiness of those days added as a practice, decorum, and formal procedure of Shabarimala, therefore ladies are prohibited to visit now a days.
Maata Amritananda has mentioned this fact in her writing in Sunday Supplement of Mathrubhumi. May our Gods and Goddesses save us all from wrong doings?
