An unknown devotee spotted a cross dangling on the gold chain Mercy had draped around her son's neck, and complained to one of the priests that a Christian had entered the temple."

Wnoder why Merci wnated her son entering the temple wearing a cross?

And now this cooked up controversy

I think the article also explains it was a spontaneous act of happiness by a mother toward her son. "spontaneous".....i am sure you know its meaning.

Is spontaneous happiness shown by divisive acts. please keep this logic wityh you only. they cannot be for public consumption
