tiger needs to be safeguarded, not traded in pieces

its very clear that tiger body parts go to china straight. they have wierd medicines from most animals and tiger is one of the prominent ones. most medicines are bunk, and tiger does not have medicinal properties like plants have. for example the active ingredients inturmeric are indeed medicinal, same goes with neem, or many many other plants. but tiger body parts as aphrodisiac ? or for body pain and other medicines is foolishness, and china officially supports these quack medicines.

they need to be stopped. but, we are no different, we have such a casual attitude towards our environment. tiger numbers have dropped to half the levels that were a decade ago, instead of conserving we are finishing off whatever's left. the tiger skin or body parts trade is miniscule, the money out of it is also miniscule, yet the politicians dont wake up to it, and dont conserve forests, or the tigers. they know very clearly that tigers need large spaces, and the politicians dont want more spaces as reserves. so, thats the link towards forest areas and lands and tigers.

Good observation. Just because they come up with medicinal uses for various body parts of different animals, does not mean other countries will oblige and start trading what-ever body part they need. It is just illogicial for them to assume and try it.

Just limit your customs and traditions to your country and if you can sustain it without effecting other countries, only then one must sustain such customs.
