Sree Narayana Guru
by JGN on Jun 11, 2007 08:34 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Our worthy politicians remember Sree Narayana Guru only when it suits them. He had also expressed instructed his followers to desist from producing, selling and consuming intoxicating liquor, but the present day Abkari Contractors are mainly from his community.

Also The Guru had the courage to declare that the idol in the temple established by him was of "Ezhava Shiva" when some brahmins objected to him consecrating the same.

What was the necessity for Mr. Vayalar Ravi and his son to go to Guruvayur temple if he believed in the teaching of his Guru, that is one god for all?

And if the solution was to just obtain a certificate from the Arya Samaj Office at Kozhikode, why they could not have obtained a certificate and avoided all these hassels? Are they trying to fish in trouble waters?

Guruvayur temple is not the property of Brahmins. It is the property of all the Hindus and moreover all the keralites. Those people who believe in Krish should be allowed there as in the case of Sabarimala. It is high time to change the Brahmin rule in Guruvayur
