I strongly believe it was built by Ravana, just in case his pushpaka flight developed a technical snag. People, including so called heritage organizations should understand that the epics are not meant to be taken in literal sense. Ramayana is a great epic set millions of years back - with fictious chatacters like 10 headed deamon, monkey gods and flying saucers! This is not something you have to take in literal sense.

If it was built by Ravana, then it is definitely man made ....

ABout Monkeys and Flyiong Saucers - its as ficticious as some Jesus Christ born to a virgin mom, crucified and his coming back alive ... every religion is made up of stories .. aint it?

Augustine, a man with 10 heads (or faces) might be a literal reference to the brilliance of Ravana or who knows what. In sanskrit, even maths is in form of allegories. It is easy to misinterpret even kalidasa.
Pushpaka might just be a horse carriage that talked to the wind (was really fast)... At best, ramayana might be a fictionalized account of a true story. I would appreciate your opinion if you took the bible in a literal sense and not as a word of god.
