How many believe Ramayana is just epic. How can we believe that a bunch of monkeys can construct a bridge. Its seems to be joke. I believe its a natural link between India and Srilanka.

Ramayan is base on Indian culture and Indian philosophy. If you are not Hindu then you have no values of Ramayana and Mahabharata. So please don%u2019t show your knowledge and if you are in India or Indian, this is very very bad luck for India.

Friend, you lack any knowledge about Hindu religion or christanity. Jesus lived just 2000 years back, but the hindu epics are supposed to have taken place millions of years back.
It is possible to trace places, incidents etc. related to those mentioned in Bibile, but ramayana is way tooooooooo old for the same. It doesnt have to do anything with the religious belief - it si a matter of common sense.
I am not against taking everything in Ramayana in the litereal sense - even though my common sense wont allow it :). What is real follishness, in my opinion is trying to find proof for something that have taken place millions of years back. You wont be a pakistani or anti-indian just if you try to apply some common sense.

Augustine, Just as I thought. You will believe the bible (that makes a mockery of Evolution, says earth is flat etc...). Dinosaurs happenned millions of years ago. Ramayana is set around 5-10 thousand years back. Expert opinion varies. There was civilization and history, higher thought and philosophy before christ. You choose to believe in christianity at the peril of humanity.

It is immaterial whether ramayna is a epic or not? but it is human repsonsibility to preserve monuments and beliefs, one can achieve anything with determination and dedication. How 6 feet humans reached moon, just be means of their inventions, do not think u as a genious just by predicting youeslf without knowing anything.

If you are an Indian, you should work to preserve the natural or man-made structure which is unique and has historical significance.
But, I am sure that you are brainwashed into hating your own heritage and history. The sad part of Indian minorities is their hatred for the Hindu way of life. Adapt to what you like, but stop hating us. Give credit to the majority for adpating a secular constitution, tolerance and in general being progressive.

hey dear Inida, u just tell me what is the stupid thing in Ramayana, whether it is true story or not, it may be debatable, but whatever it teaches is not at all stupid or debatable, rather it shows the way even to todays man. by saying like that dont show ur brain. Central govt. should find out the alternative to the sethusamundram project.

when u don't believe in Ramayana how cud u call urself a Hindu, when u don't hve faith in Lord Ram, u don't right to call urself a Hindu. Always remember only Hinduism allows you to urgue none of the other religion in the world. But it doesn't means u r free to say anything

Can you distort Darwins theory of evolution" Oue ancestors were Homo sapeins like monkeys. Charles Darwin was a scientist. So stop calling "Bunch of monkeys'.You should watch Anuimal Planet " Monkey Business and you stupid will understand that Monkeys also possess intelligence at par with humans. It is possible that Lord Rama may have taken help of Monkeys to contruct the bridge.
Just for you to Ponder " why is any discovery called RE-SEARCH" and not SEARCH. the answer is it is already "searched". Good Luck
