Here some peole says Its ok to show Hindhu Gods and Godesses nude because we do see them nude in temples. Wt kind of hypocrasy we are talking here?
Anything & everything in this world has its limits. 'Freedom' has its limits and 'tolerance' too.
Whatever you have seen in the Temples are one way of promoting the kamasuthra in a nicer way. Place is important. You do all sort of things with your wife in your bedroom secretely and personally. Why dont you do it publicly infront of everybody? Moral of the story is there is a limit for everything and place for everything. You can not take bath in Dining room and cook in the bath room.
Some say what these Crber cafes Did? I ask them
Were you asleep when Muslims in India were attacking Hindu shops protesting Danish cartoons?
Where were you when Muslims attacking a petrol pump and burning after Mecca masjid Bomb blast in Hyderabad? wt that Petrol Bunk fellows did? Wt the sho keepers arround charminar did?
The problem is, the so-called liberals who talk a lot refuse to accept that there is a limit for creativity of art & freedom of expression and that there are certain areas, which do not come under the scrutiny of immature, irrational & idiotic artists. Religion, Culture & God are things morally connected to millions of people who have steadfast faith in them and a few mediocre artists & their supporting stupid liberals do not have the right to subvert them in the name of creativity & freedom, either in private

I agree with you, very well said about these so called liberals A.K.A "darpooks"
The problem is, the so-called liberals who talk a lot refuse to accept that there is a limit for creativity of art & freedom of expression and that there are certain areas, which do not come under the scrutiny of immature, irrational & idiotic artists. Religion, Culture & God are things morally connected to millions of people who have steadfast faith in them and a few mediocre artists & their supporting stupid liberals do not have the right to subvert them in the name of creativity & freedom, either in private exams or in public exhibitions. Many such cases (particularly connected to Hindu Gods & Goddesses) have occurred in the past and the State has miserably failed to punish them resulting in the perpetrators getting away scot-free. So, the people themselves punish them in the next given opportunity and only such punishments would make these so-called creative artists to refrain from indulging in hurting the sentiments of millions of believers.
As long as Courts and State authorities dont act severly on such fellows who hurt millions of people, these sort of attacks will happen and peole take the law into their own hands because State didnt protected them.

the problem is not millions of people reacting, some morons are only reacting. Do you know how much is India's population. Let majority of them say your view, then i will accept. Don't simply raise issues other than what we protesting about. Do you know anything about internet and how it works if u have to close such sites then probably there will no need for internet in india.

ok. going by the same logic, how come SS attacks youngsters who are sitting in a ice-cream parlour on valentine day. is it written anywhere in our religious books that it should not be done. even balloon sellers on the road are beaten up the SS goons. so all the vrobse comments can not help in justifying the behaviour.

I am not justifying them at all. But When the State dont protect people's sentiments and their feelings, the anger will be turned like this only.

ok,your personal sentiments are yours only. dont exibit them to others. why doesnt SS goons sentiments not get hurt by destruction of mangroves in mumbai? what about spitting and uriniating in public places. or are SS sentiments only in the religious level and nothing to do with social goodwill?

Dont you spit on the roads, only Siv sainiks do? Why dont you agitate against destruction of mangroves in mumbai?
In India, Religion, Culture & God are things morally connected to millions of people who have steadfast faith in them. nobody has the right to hurt these feelings. I want to see your reaction when somebody paint nude pictures of your MOM, Sister and wife. :)

What on earth do you mean by Kamasutra in temples. You must be out of your minds. I don't go to a temple to understand the art of love making and i am sorry if that's what you do.
It was an older way of doing because temples are treated as holy and we have a lot of ashramaas inside temples to teach everything where there are no books and only way is to learn by art.
Today with liberalization and development, we have lot of ways to learn and it doesn%u2019t mean that you throw away out ancient culture and art.
People like you only destroy the ancient culture and talk a lot of non-sense. If you don%u2019t like, don%u2019t talk, but please don%u2019t criticize and hurt other people's feelings.

You seem to talking a lot of nonsense here and is completely out of depths. No civilised society will accept any one taking the law in their won hands and that is the core issue here not whether your sentiments have been hurt. My sentiments are hurt every day when i see beggars on the streets in India, people being divided on the basis of their caste, corruption and intolerance and don't tell me i can't talk if i don't like something. If i hate vegetables i will seek a medium to express my discontentment.

Civiligation. Now you came to my point. Most Civilized societies recognise that freedom of artistic expression must necessarily clash with religious sensitivities. Mindful of this conflict, they create their own balance and draw their own boundaries to decide what is acceptable and what is not. For instance, the Islamic world regards all offence to religion as entirely unacceptable. In the West, such societies as Britain and Denmark reckon that artistic freedom is so absolute that religious sensitivities are irrelevant. When cultures clash, as they did over the Danish cartoons, each society must decide what balance it prefers.
Our problem in India is that we have no standards, no barriers and no sense of what is acceptable and what is not. Instead, each time the issue erupts, we engage in the same meaningless, finger-pointing debates, and call each other names. No principles are ever discussed. No guidelines are drawn up. No balance is reached.
And after some time, when another such incident occurs, we have the same pointless debates all over again. In the process, we learn nothing and forget everything.

going by the same ancient culture, do you know that rig-veda has a treatise on "atheism". it is the only religion in the world to have that. so who defines culture, definitely not slum dwelling SS goons.

if you say "atheism", I will say another thing. There are a lot of variations in hinduism and lets not debate the Hindhu Culture here.
