you obviously cant read. i didnot say that literacy rate is less than 55%. All i said is that the number 55% is impossible give our literacy rate. Given that 59.5% is literate, do you think most of those people care about global warming or making a quick buck, no matter the way. you obviously got an education in india.

"your literacy rate" and then "our literacy rate" and then "got an education from india".Whats this guy a paki? or an NRI who is not sure whether he is indian or foriegnher or plain idiot????

When taking a sample they take random sample on the road.Thats why its called sampling and not sensus idiot. If india is literate or illiterate,we are the second fastest growing economy, producing more millionaires and billionaires than anybody and with 4th largest purchasing power soon to replace america and japan to become the 2nd. We know our weekness but we also know where and what we can do.Meanwhile decide if you want to be an indian or a westerner .If its the former well and good ,if its the later wait till your country become the next uk of the world. If you cant see good things keep your dirty mouth shut
