Indian culture teaches us to respect and protect environment and live our lives in such a way so as to have minimum impact on our surroundings. While others are only now starting to understand the importance of our fragile eco-system, Indians are following these practices for centuries.

come on do not potray false about our country. How we do things we only know see the plastics waste , see the waste on all roads across metros and non metros , now villages are also contaminated , we have no value for our culture and our pride of being Indian , we fight with each others , and now allow any one and every one to rule upon us we are poor minded people who run to help usa and west but when it comes to us we start fighting with ourselves our brains are intelligent for others and not for us .

The plastic waste that you see on the streets is because of the poor waste management by our Municipal corporations. We have one of the lowest consumptions of per capita energy and we recycle almost everything. People migrating to overseas and fighting among each other is a different issue, and irrelevant to this topic.

bring it to the attention of our president, i'm sure he will give the issue (emission standards, waste management) its due..as for migration, indians do want to but nobody wants to collect dirt in their country..

Where is this visible? Indian culture is only for studies and history books. Present generations and leaders are not bothered.

well i haven't of heard any such preaching in any of our vedas etc. or may be i haven't read them properly. according to Maharashtra Environment Protection Act, 1986, plastic bags below 20 micron are not be manufactured at all. but as of now we still don't see the law being enforced. forget what our culture etc teaches us. we don't even bother respecting law. who gives a damn abt culture??
