Indians most concerned about global warming: Survey

Americans can contribute in control of CO2 emission considerably by using public transport more often. Most American families own two or more cars.

Bicycles which were a common sight upto the sixties has almost disappeared. Governments & public should encourage/facilitate the use of cycles. Poor and densely populated countries would benefit in many ways. Apart from reduction in polution, lesser dependence on oil, form of excercise etc.

More and more attention needs to be given on recycling. An example; usage of tissues in place of hand-kerchieves, reduce the consumption of "use & throw away" products etc.
