orkut should be banned. I am not realy getting use of the same, Some says to be in touch wid frds n family,If you wanna do dat you can do it by mail or chatting , but Its too public and one or other reason it gonna reflect in your life as well. Tell me one good reason to carry on with orkut and justify it, About freedom and all, if you feel so come out in public in new paper or news channel or any debat and put your issue about ur dislikin for any subject,, I am scared that orkut is being used for setting information where publicly for terrorism and making new team of mafia and all. Just check out some communities dat ask to join such a task team. Think twice before takin favor for orkut.. Its really dangeous if people of india can understand.

doode, u jus looking at one side of picture, do u think if terrorist use it, secret agencies dont,to track them, in case u didnt know..a bigg drug trafficking was caught by secret agencies in central america(last year), the criminals used orkut, and those smart a**es were caught by the efficient agencies. so no one's sleeping here!!! i have thought and read more than twice in favoring for orkut. and as for expressing ur views on newspapers/ televisions...none have that capacity to print or show sooooo many individual views as orkut.and abt ONE good reason, u can read my post.its there, and it was definitely helpful to me. and ppl like me suffer if u ban orkut, u ban orkut, u dont let creative/innovative ppl exchange INFORMATION. thats all i have to say.

Do you think , all agencies are tracking all stff and they are concern for india, as Orkut says more then normal communitye there are communites which promo sex-violance-attact on any region or country,, and expression of freedom doesnt mean that you can say anything abt anyone or any country,,and just to track if any violance or terrorist use it we cant provide them any platform, its like to catch any drunk man first let them drink,,, Really think of the matter,, still now everything was working while orkut was not there, still ppl getting solustion for their knowledge and is creativeinnovative is depend of social group , creativity itselfs find it never need any platform like Orkut.And about exchange of information you find lots of technical sites on net which are pure technosites, I am technical person I know use of orkut but its getting worst from last 6-8 months , go in any cafe , you will find only orkut orkut n orkut , wasting time of ppl for scrapping and all, and how many scrap you find in ur list for askin frdship or bad joke or anything,, its all public and one has to keep this in mind,, orkut ppl are not worried abt this so better we ban it

so basically u hate watching ppl, specially the youth, waste their time on orkut???u think its all abt dating, folish ppl falling for another bunch of fools.... isnt it true, sir? This is what u r against, the YOUTH wasting their time, and not terrorism, sex-violence promotion, or freedom of speech on net. Nothing more to say, sir, for u dont want to look beyond, and as someone already mentioned, a knife can be used for both destructive and constructive purpose, depends on the person who wields/uses it, same is with ORKUT users. dont worry the 2% is still alive and kicking a**es, not all hope's lost. :)

n most importantly we are discussing orkut here and not internet as of whole.and if any site do so, I wud do ban dat for security purpose whats wrong in dat if anyone tring to get inside your home what will you do, cum on buddy one has to take decision. and its authorised site and doing so dats why its feel too odd that google ppl are not getting the fact and what the hell they are doing by allowing anything on dat

do you know orkut was asked to keep eyes on communities 6 month back wen they registered but they didnt care for the same and no banner for any adult material in orkut.. dont u think google ppl are just messing all things like this , atleast such a think they cud hv done

just give a simple search in Mumbai City for community or just Cricket or anything,, you will get how one can come to know about adult communities.. they are really need to filter all things, as google has filter search but you wont find iin orkut. Tell me some banafit you got coz of orkut,which was not possible without it, if coin has two side and positive is much better then negative its understood to carry on wid the same. can you justify about your usage of orkut? Wen you alone think over it
