Please people. A light year is a unit for distance and not time like the author seems to suggest.

Distance light takes to travel in a year, traveling at 3 10E8 m/sec. & since Speed = Dist/Time, hence this could be translated to time unit too!

It cannot be translated into time unit due to the slash, in Dist/time

Idiot Easwar - you already have a unit of time - one year. So, just say something is years away if you're talking about time, light years away if you're talking about distance.
Don't try and spread your silly notions around..
