entry into temples
by ng pillai on Jun 13, 2007 11:05 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Let the minister make a law proclaiming entry for everybody, irrespective of caste, creed or religion into all places of worship.....Hindu, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Sikh. That will be the right thing to do instead of targeting only the Hindus.

100% true. uniform law - one law for everyone. or else none.

every religion has some flaws or the other according to the people from other religion. so why squabble. let rights and rules be defined. why only pick on one religion - so that the minority vote bank is protected ? there's a very clear pseudo-secular agenda here.

the whole exercise right now , lets not be fooled - is very very political.

I agree. This would be a very civilized thing to do. Descrimination under any pretix is wrong.
