if vayalar ravi or for that matter Yesudas, are true bhaktas of guruvayurappan, what they should do is to keep quite...god will show them the way...both ravi and yesudas has brought disgrace to the great temple by bringing such an issue to the public!! shame on the minister and shame of the GREAT SINGER!! already that temple is so much crowded, just by entry by hindus, cant think of going to that temple where women will now enter in purdah!!! my sweet memories of guruvayur temple is beginning to be faded !! Tell me any other temple in the world, where one gets tears in the eyes, looking at the deity??? Only Vishnu can save that temple now!!

You are right. Curse be on those people like Ravi who bring bad name to the temple for their personal gains.

If someone has the right to Curse then he should be ready to receive a curse. Might be it did not happen to you or me and if at all it happened or might happen then might be the feelings will hurt for each and every person irrespective World famous Singer or a Politician. %u201CNO GOD HAS MADE ANY RULES IF AT ALL HE HAD THEN HE WOULD HAVE CREATED EVERY RELIGION FOLLOWERS OF DIFFERENT SHAPES SIZES AND COLOUR THE ENTIRE SYSTEM WOULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT%u201D. GOD did not make any religion MAN made them and GOD doesn%u2019t demand any purification nowhere at has been written nether in VEDAS or any HOLY BOOKS of every belief if at all it has been written then it has been misunderstood keep the place of worship clean means not only the place but every individual both physically, and mentally. No priest can object on any one unless an individual is abusing the place by misbehavior like consuming alcohol, smoking, narcotics or adultery etc.

This is not the fist issue many individuals following different beliefs have written or gone to the court of law not against the religion but against the system followed or implemented by the high priests.

If at all Guruvayur temple head priest Chennas Raman Namboodiripad is following such system then the temple might be under such ceremonies every minute through out the year because the people coming there might be Hindus in faith but the practices their eating habits, the costume they were (Manf. By other Religion), the footwear if leath

may be an individual might have made mistake but not the religion .I personally feel that hinduism is the m ost tolerant religion
when u talk of a change this is not business of attracting more visitors to the temples
when u quote bhgvad gita you should also quote many more good things from it not just quote for your convenience
Gita also tells you to do your duty & forget the result to god now the priests are just following them now just keep off

You are right in one way that Hinduism should reform. But why Non Hindus be allowed inside temples without any devotional aspect? Do they be allowed to watch sculptures and interpret it in the way they like.. I agreed that laws must be reformed to include converted Hindus or any HIndu (whether his father or mother belong to diff.religion) to enter the temple.
