When in Rome, be a Roman

The Senior Tantri has tried to put things in to clear perspective. He is not the law, he is obeying a tradition. Good that Hinduism has evolved traditions (albeit blind)to keep the internal environment and external environments clean. As a thorough practioner of Vedas, he is not wrong as he did his duty. Sons or cronies of politician should shed their ego atleast when inside the temple. There is no question of humiliation when a cleaning act is performed. The sanctity of the temple is supreme and only because of such sacrosanct tradition, the legacy of Guruvayur temple is sky-high.
Regarding the question of non-hindus entering temple, temple is a place of worship for hindus. With what sensibility does a non-hindu enter a temple? What is his/her business inside if he has no faith in hindu rituals and religion? There is no scarcity of places for worship for non-hindus in this 'communal' India. Let believers who seek solace from faith in Hinduism, enter temple. Why make a temple a marketfare for all and sundry?

defenite places alloted for every personal/community acts. Like a bathroom is to take bath, like a temple for hindus to worship, like a church for the christians. To alter the age-old wisdom in the name of freedom, is total lunacy. If a christian is baned from praying in a church, that is 'discrimination'. If a hindu is denied access to enter temple, it is 'discrimination', if a moslem is not allowed to offer namaz in a mosque of his choice, it is 'discrimination'. Please get this simple things right.
If politicians are told to obey the rules of the land, it is not humiliation. If a priest or an engineer is doing what is expected of him, it is not high-handedness. If a Govt officer doesnt do his duties, what should be the consequences? If a civilian is prohibited by military from crossing the LOC it is not an affront on his freedom of travel. Same way, a christian is best placed in a church than in a temple where he will totally lost in finding peace of mind.
Thank you, young Indians! Change is necessary. Not for the sake of change alone.
