Government does not support any of the temples in India. It is the reverse. The government takes the money offered by various devotees to the temples and uses the money for "SECULAR" activities.

Dheeraj: Bhattacharya is NOT aware that Govt steals from Hindu temples (and in many cases gives that to maintain Church, Masques), because these are limited to Southern India.
Thankfully in Norther, Western or Eastern India, this would have never been allowed.
