Non hindus such as muslims and christians do not believe in Idol Worship, now tell me what is there business in Temple, temple is not a place for sight seeing.
Today they are talking about punyaham tomorrow they will say there is no need for Arathi, Archana,.......etc., in a temple.
Forget about the Devasom Minister....etc., Everytime he opens his mouth he talks rubbish. Does he know the kind of fraud and money swindling that takes place in Wakf Boards and other Christian Societies.
If the politicans want everyone one to enter temple and everyone is same in front of god and law then WHY THE HELL ARE THEY NOT IMPLEMENTING AN UNIFORM CIVIL CODE. Why have different personal laws for different religions.
I wonder why these politicans have to poke their nose into all these.....religious issue, leave it to the society and community.
Now regarding Mr. Yesudas and Mr. Yusuf Ali .....etc., please understand that just because he has sung so many guruvayoor appan songs or the later has written them, it doesnot make them get special priveliges to enter THIS temple. Please understand that Mr. Yesudas or the Mr. Yusuf Ali have sung and written these songs for MONEY. Just because Mr. X or Mr. Y has a Good character or has done some good movies, ......etc., He or She cannot become President or India or Secretary General of UN.
A very Simple and Progressive end to this ISSUE is the following. Anyone (Christian or Muslim)who wants to enter Guruvayoor Temple should be asked t

A very Simple and Progressive end to this ISSUE is the following. Anyone (Christian or Muslim)who wants to enter Guruvayoor Temple should be asked to make a SELF DECLARATION that they believe in Idol Worship. PERIOD.

That is a classic case of bone-headedness...tell me, by signing some declaration ,will we be sure of his faith?..or his belief?...in fact, the declaration can look like a humiliating gesture to true believers...

This is a desperate act of self glorofication by the Tantri , becuase he himself knows that a teu Christian/Muslim will never visit a Hindu place of idol worship, and the Tantri or Hindu priest knows the truth and the place of his religion among intellectuals, this is just an DESPERATE attempt to glorify his own Hindu religion by making others look inferior.
Shame on the so called priest, whose insecurity is a result of teh religion he follows which is based on absolute crap and nonsensical theories which change along with the dollar value in the foreign exchange and the customs change with every new bollywood movie or a silly commericial on TV channels... I forgot to mention a seemingly Hindu politician can also chnage the religion of Hinduism, one can understand the frustration of the tantri to gain recognition by all mean possible , but it has backfired and he made his Hindu religion look like a gang and this whole story is like a Hindu Gang war.
And this woman preeti menon is living under the impression that non Hindus are interested in visiting the temples

Sameer Bhagwat- which planet are you from? Yesudas is a Christian (he claims he is) and he would like to visit the temple which has an idol in it.
You have learnt some words like self-glorification and you keep using them for your own self-glorification.
Please keep your Rs.100 worth adopted-religion (in the literal sense because Im curious to know how much the missionary gave you to convert) and shove it (just like those Christian priests do to those kids or just like Mary Magdalene was deceived by those MCP apostles)
