Politicians are Hypocrites
by Gopal Elayavalli on Jun 06, 2007 05:19 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

If Vayalar Ravi does not belive in the rule of the temple he should not visit one. The rule of the temple is not/should not be decided by the judges or any civilian.

These are the same politicians who use caste to get reservations from school admissions to jobs. If they believe everyone is equal will they forfeit this opportunity to try it just through merit.

Good one, when it comes to reservation then they forget about equality.
If you have faith in tht temple, go there. Else you can go to any temple. Does he think God that exists in that temple is different(or superio) than what exist in others. :))

Mr Vayalar Ravi is a Hindu and has said so in his interview. He believes that Guruvayur is the holiest temple but he does not accept the rules followed by the priests of the Temple. If the institution called Guruvayur includes not only the idol but also its priests -hereditory or otherwise and the temple practices then Mr Ravi is wrong in denouncing such a practice as followed by the priests. On the other hand if he is a believer of Lord Krishna then it does not matter where he goes to pray and it becomes inconsequential what practice is followed at Guruvayur.
Mr Ravi is politicizing the practice followed by Guruvayur and in the process destroying the Institution called Guruvayur.
