Of course, the nation was proud of high literacy rate of Kerala. But, I was dismayed to find extreme caste conscience in Kerala even at this time too, inspite of their so called education!
Perhaps, their education has not accomplished the purpose of the education to them!
Such low and narrow attitudes to bend to caste variations have definitely defeated the purpose of education, though the present system of education by itself does not cater to a noble purpose at all as rightly pointed out by late Dr. Radhakrishnan, the eminent philosopher and educationist and late Dr. Einstein, the eminent scientist!

Caate conscience may still be there in Kerala. It will take some time to go. But theres no explicit caste discrimination. Atleast we have got so far with our literacy.
