Should a politician be the next President?

It is only a Rubber Stamp what difference it makes whether it is made in Rubber or Nylon. India need a strong, young and powerful President to question the bloody corrupt politicians.

You are absolutely correct. I even think that the Finance sector should be taken away from the politicians and create a separate board with several clean profiles from the society. Let the politicians then bark for the justice if at all they feel it is worth any more for them to continue (?) in politics.

thats a right point Sanjit... even the Finance ministry should have non-political figures. though i think with FMs like Chidambaram and Manmohan Singh did strike a right balance between a politician and an economist

Dr Manmohan Singh is also a good chaprasi for Mdm Sonia Gandhi.
