I am wondering what if India join USA in a defense agreement which guarantees that USA will defend Indian security when attacked by nuclear weapon? If India and USA can make that agreement that will solve all problems, India wont have to test nuclear weapon and will get uninterrupted supply of nuclear fuel and at the same time India's security will be guaranteed by the world's superpower.

India and USA together can rock the world. It will be a most massive event in the world history if a economic and defense union is created !
Both are on opposite side of the globe and will rule the world literally. Combining indian wisdom, american technology, indian survival instincts and ingenuity, with American pioneerism and inventive genius, i dont think there is anything that will be unachievable.
But it is a union more of fantasy than reality.........but a pleasant supposition.

I personally stronlgly believe that nuclear weapons are slowly going to be phased out from the world. The new weapon of mass destruction will be the economic power.

US seeks to castrate i.e. denuke India, per your UNION take the scenario will something like Ukraine. If the religious angle opens up, then they will make a Turkey of the union question. Inevitably there will also be talks from evangelical quarters for doing a Phillipine on India. So you think you are the smart one?
