Bombay blast verdict is out on Sanjay Dutt but I feel it is too tough on the person. The sentence should have been lighter and in my opinion a community service punishment should have been given rather than a rigrous imprisonment of 6 years. There are thousands of people/criminal in India who are holding deadly arms and are moving scot free not to mention the our great politicial parties who have criminals under their cadre and no body does about them. And Sanju for all reasons is a good human being and a son of a patriot these things should have been taken into cognizance before delivering the verdict on DUTT.

This is the problem with Indians. We go soft on people who break laws according to their whims and fancies. Take for example the case of Paris Hilton, the daughter of a millionaire heiress. She violated driving laws in US and she was put behind bars in a common prison for about 3 months! She is a very well known celebrity in US and she has lots of fans. That is what is so great about US:-their law enforcement. Nobody is above the law including the prime minister and the president. So stop whinning like a kid and grow up! Look around you, the world is changing. In US, Europe and other countries, you may the son or daughter of a big shot, but if you break the law you pay a price. that is integrity!

In that case also the Sherrif tried to be lenient on Paris. He allowed her to be in sort of house prison than actual prison.
Only when there were protests, Paris was sent to the jail again.
Later on it came to light that the sherrif had accepted donations from Paris's Grand father long before during election. For that reason, he was lenient on Paris.

Mr Hari...i cant believe you wrote this...this can only be written by someone who is so out of touch with reality in India.Agreed that Paris has been put behind the bars for rash driving...but thats US.How many in India get this kind of punishment...and if u want to compare those things, then also see that the judgement on Paris came within weeks, whereas this has come after 14 long years wherein SanjuBaba has suffered already a lot.Kode has eaten up 14 years for this stupid verdict. And Capital Punishment is something which,to so many ppl is simply unjust.Lifer would have been fine.Imagine yaar, 14 years for justice...I think the wait is far too long..Raana Dutt is right and I agree that the judgement is a little harsh on SanjuBaba.. Sanju, dont lose heart...we r there and the indian ppl will support you...

You mean we should be soft for Sanjay Dutt because some of the criminals are not punished. So you better write something about those criminals not about Sajay Dutt.
You are amongst the ones who will speak from both sides. If judge would have been softer, then you would have written that judicial system is doing partiality.
I think the judgement is just perfect. I do have full faith in the judicial system and it is really well designed. Only thing is it is too slow. We should rather discuss about the failure of judicial system because of which these criminals were enjoying for last 13 years.

Well Mr. Hari Rao - Paris did not stay in jail for longer than 3 weeks, had preferential treatment had controversial time outs from prison and you say all this is great about the US. Learn to appreciate your country for what it is. Comparison is out of the question because India stands tall above everyone else

Sorry to say that but US companies are only doing well with Asian employees. Americans are DUMBO's. Before you ask me to first stay here, let me tell you that I HAVE stayed there.
Indians like you and I repect law in the US but not in India, that's the problem. WE together make India and when we do not unite and standup as good citizens this is what happens. I see things getting better today due to media coming of age, aware youth and empowered women. I am sure INDIA is the superpower of tomorrow. Lond live India!!!
