our legal system is designed in manner allowing a Human being to undergo transformation not punishment only if the individual i a burden on society this does not apply now what good is it to put a transformed man to Jail and what good will it do to society other than the fact that yes some high society rogues will be careful for few days This man Sanjay has Played a role to help shaping our society through his movies and this man could have been kept on observation rather than directly send him to jail like a common criminal IF PEOPLE LIKE PHOLAN DEVI COULD BECOME MP AND even a terrorist like Yasin Malik could be given chance why not to this guy by the way iam not a fan of this actor or any other nor iam i sympathzing with him only commenting from the angle of Humanity.

Whatever the crime in which Mr. Dutt was involved directl or indirectly, is considered as war against country. And when talking about Phholan Devi she got elected after completetion of her Jail terms.

I have a soft corner for Sanjay Dutt. Sanjay Dutt should have been given a chance. He has already suffered jail sentence and his behaviour after being released have been good enough.
The court is made to punish the guilty and see that justice is done . However they should also give a chance to those who are trying to improve themselves.
Sanjay Dutt was indeed involved in a crime and has suffered jail term and harassment for 13 long years.. I personally think that it is enough for a person who is trying to improve himself.
Even for a crime like murder people are given life imprisionment. And in this case he has not murdered anyone nor was a part of the conspiracy.
I would have appreciated if he was released not because of his statute but bcoz of his behaviour...
