A common man does not understand why Sanjay Dutt has been punished where as people having commited equal or worse crimes have been freed ! Examples are many:Jessica Lal's murderer,Nitish Katara's murderer,corruptor like Sukh Ram,communalists like Modi etc.(the list is in fact who's who of today's powerful people). The answer is the process of prosecuting has been corrupted; in Sanjay Dutt's case, as the case was of national importance, this process was carried out meticulously although belated.
Every body is equal before law; but not before prosecution. My advice to Sanjay Dutt is to donate all his earning to build an institute in India which shall make prosecution,investigation and evidences more powerful.
