Quality of Australian products, including cars, is an international joke. They lived up to this image with their handling of Dr. Haneef's case. However, full marks go to their legal system and their people & press for bringing the real truth out of the closet. Their PM has acted just like an Indian politician ducking all responsibility when caught on the wrong foot ! He will be a thumping success if he contests elections in India !

AUSTRALIAN POLICE DONT SHOOT DEAD TENS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE A YEAR, COMMIT RAPES, TAKE BRIBE AND TORTURE PEOPLE UNLIKE THE SECURITY AGENCIES IN THE BANANA REPUBLICS OF ASIA, AFRICA & MIDDLE-EAST.
IT IS DUE TO THE FACT THAT HE WAS IN AUSTRALIA WHERE THE POLICE & LEGAL SYSTEM IS HONEST AND THE PUBLIC IS ABLE TO QUESTION IT WITHOUT FEAR, THE TRUTH WAS ABLE TO BE FOUND OUT.
IN THE BANANA REPUBLICS & BANANA DEMOCRACIES OF ASIA, AFRICA & MIDDLE-EAST HE WOULD HAVE BEEN TORTURED INTO CONFESSING & IMPRISONED OR EXECUTED.
