"Making it clear that the US would seek return of nuclear technology and fuel if India conducts a nuclear test, " pls anybody can clarify this line from above article have we sold our independence ?

Pls pls see the line above its the most important line i believe where india has sold itself out

This is not a sold-out. This is just a diplomatic face saver for domestic consumption in USA.
In any case, future technology ensures less dependence on actual Nuclear Tests.

India managed it for a long time. So did Pakisthan.

And Israel still manages without it.

We always have lines and provisions like that in even simple commercial/bi-leteral business agreement. Here we are talking about such important issue as Nulear stuff.

We don't need to read too much the above lines because we have provisions to get fuel from other countries in the event of absence of American fuel supply. Second thing we are now allowed to import nuclear reactors and technology from other countries also. So if we have a combination of reactions from various countries, that will counter balance when America wants to take back their reactors and their technology. Most important point is if America wants to take back their reactors and technology then American has to bear the looses incurred by their action.

i think if US stops supply of fuel under any event, Russia would be more than willing to supply us the fuel, like it did in the tarapur case very recently even when the US was opposed to russia giving fuel to India then
