on nuclear deal

concerns shown in this article are well placed, however it is very difficult for us to just leave this so-important agreement in jeopardy only because we are to compromise on certain trifle points. we cannot expect any country like the US to accept all our terms and conditions in a single go. if we need the cooperation of this superpower in higher fields of science and technology then we must be prepared to move gradually in that direction. all of a sudden we cant get everything. in any negotiation parties have to leave some ground for the other. it cant be that the other side have to concede unilaterally. we have our technological need, and the US has to engage India in the larger framework of its nuclear policy. adamant posture from any side would kill this important agreement between these two countries.leave something for the future to unfoldand evolve.

Right said! Thanks for being the voice of reason. We somehow expect every other country to sacrifice their national interest for ours! The US is trying to partner with us, while protecting their own national interest. What's wrong with that?
