As always any deal signed with the Americans must meet their security interests as well as business interests! While Hyde Act and other Acts and Decrees are holy cows, the Indian constitution, parliament, etc. can be circumvented and given the short shrift. That has been the American point of view and that our unelected, immorally and crudely (with concocted residential address in Assam) foisted PM remembers even in his sleep!
