Religion is basically how you behave and think depending on Time Place and Circumstance. That defines your religion. Vedas provide you the knowledge on how to descriminate between the right and the wrong.

hey pritish, maybe there are wrong things happening; but when u spread extremist ideas, u are doing the same thing as many others are doing...we Indians boast of our cultural heritage and tolerance at every possible opportunity but if someone reads the posts on some of these chats or blogs, they will realize the extreme lengths people are going to, to brainwash and bring others down...anyway, I hope and wish tht u are happy in ur beliefs and enjoy ur time...

well, the difference is tht Iam a Hindu (and I am proud to say tht) from Kerala and we are not taught extremism (luckily)...anyway, unless ppl come and live there, they won't understand tht....there are a lot of bad things abt Kerala like communist strikes, hartals etc but religious extremism at least is not prevalent...thankfully...

Itz not u Pritish; check out several of these blogs; it becomes a venue for vehement attacks on different religions, castes and communities....some of the language can almost make u go blind.. u talked abt TTD take over by X'ians, ur post on how u believe "vasudevakudumbakam" where we call for brotherhood irrespective of belief and culture is hurting us etc can be interpreted in the wrong sense by extremist elements...anyway, gotta leave now...

I don't know abt mullahs protecting ppl in Iraq...at least 100 die in suicide attacks on a daily basis; it cannot be tht all those who die are terrorists or suicide bombers...noone is protecting Hindus in India at least bcoz u don't need any protection (thankfully); itz a sad thing in B'desh...when terrorists blow up trains or buildings, it is not only Hindus who die...noone looks whether all muslims and x'ians left the building before doing these acts...at least in the context of India, this sort of argument does not hold good...
