Democracy has become joke in goa. Due to very less MLAs even two or three MLAs defection matters. In such a circumstances no leader will be able to rule effectivly for Goans Wellbeing. I think there are only two options to resolve these crises. 1) make the Goa as Centrally ruled place as was earlier. 2)Merge the state with maharashtra. as such culture of both the states is same. language is same.

Because like every other ambitious person, Goa based politicians also wanted a red-light car and titles of minister and chief minister.
In fact a better suggestion would be to merge the entire Gomantak area from Raigarh or Sindhudurg in north to the dubious Mangalore down south famous for its people switching loyalty between Malayalam and Konkani depending on their benefits. That way, MLAs will increase and small scale defections will stop.
