I'm an Indian American and I am not celebrating this deal. I have not seen anyone else celebrating either and I know tons of Indian Americans. Rediff should stop posting these weird-ass news items which in fact are nothing more than lies. This news makes the readers elsewhere think that millions of Indian Americans are out on the streets celebrating the 'new deal' and raising toasts, an iota of which isn't happening.

You dont have to take anything so literally. Here celebrating simply means that people are happy. I am an Indian American too and I am really happy. I know tons of Indian Americans and all of them are happy. It will certainly benefit India in the long run. Good relations with each other is in the interest of both of the nation. Proud to be an American, Proud to be an Indian.
