Think... and think again
by Ajay Mathew on Jul 25, 2007 09:49 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

This is not about hindus or muslims.
This is about an Indian citizen who is arresting in a foreign country on the assumption that he is a terrorist.
He is innocent until proven guilty.
unlike some other countries, Australian court cases are handled quite swiftly.
if this man is proven guilty please feel free to flame him to hell, but before that dont make a fool of yourself by saying stupid thinks about him and his 100% innocent child.

one last thing, assume you go to a party and a friend of a friend asks you for your phone so he can call home about something urgent, and you give him the phone. assume he calls a terrorist and you dont realize. Later if you are arrested on assumption that you are a terrorist since your mobile was used, would you like 100s of people who do not know you, do not know the facts, but still abuse you your family, your child and your pet dog?
I dont think so.

i partly agree with u. but by and large my opinion is, muslims are relatively less trustworthy if you look at the nature of violance and muslims involvement in it, all over the world.

If the crime is as big as trying to blow up tens of hundreds of innocent people, then damn right everyone has a right to accuse me. The weight of clearing my name is on me.
The gravity of the crime is and should be equivalent to social chastising. In fact it's our duty to raise our voice and let the statement be clear (to any aspiring muslims) that we do not condone this and what people will feel about him when he's blown himself up. I do not condone the mob execution without trial for this guy, and don't believe that will happen too.
Summary is he intentionally or unintentionally aided a terrorist. For the best case scenario for him, he did it intentionally, it's up to him to pass the flak he gets here to the circle of his cousins and radical Muslims who are actually responsible for bringing the hardships on him and not the Indian Govt., Aussie police or the USA.
