Sonia's move
by Nagesh Bhagwat on Jul 21, 2007 04:35 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

When Somnath was made the speaker, Sonia ensured that in the event of withdrawal of support by the Left, Somnath, being from the Left will find it tough to dissolve his own house.

Now, putting Hamid there secures the upper house as well. The Left will gain nothing as he would not play any major role in Policy making.

The Italian wins again...

I couldn't agree more on that.

Also, having Patil as president ensures congress to go on an un-constitutional law-less binge like it went on during emergency.

COng. will ally with some buyable regional parties and ensure the commies are out of the UPA in the next general elections.

The Cong. monarchy is here to stay!

The Congress may be bad, But if they put down the Commies, it will be for the Nation's Good.
