Did we not have better women in Congress?
by Gururaj S on Jul 21, 2007 11:02 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

The mute point is Sonia did not just want a woman, she wanted one who will dance to her tunes.

I wish to believe Congress has much better women, but those in public limelight are those who are chamchas of the high command.

This is a sad day for India. What happens if the Courts will have to serve summons to Pratibha or her husband in the cases? Will these now be washer under the carpet of immunity? What price will Pratibha pay to save her skin?

The third front is a joke, they played into the hands of Congress by deciding to stay neutral. I hope the voters in their states can very well tell these parties to wind up and merge with Congress or be a part of UPA. Let some others take the space and stand up for our national values, stand up against the slave mentality of Congress and co.

Why don't you respond to the point made? I am not cribbing. It is democracy, they had the right to elect. I have the right to state my views.

Just because they could elect anyone, why impose a person of such weak credentials on this nation? I know, we get what we deserve. This is the penalty for electing such persons as MPs / MLAs. When there is so much of dirt around, cant expect the high offices to be dirt free.
