Finally after all the opposition and all what not ...we have got the First Woman President of Republic India ... I am confident she will prove everyone wrong (who have dismissed her even without giving her a chance) and do some good to the upliftment of Women in INDIA... she is from the land which gave us First Women School Teacher/ Revolutioner Mrs Savitri Phule ...hope she will do the same and change the status of Women in India ... people wearing Coat and So called Modern may find it hard to accept a simple lady wearing SARI as their President ... so be it ... but she represent millions of Indian women in the rural India which has been left behind in the race of Gobalization .... I wish her the very best .... and may God give her the courage to take some GOOD DECISIONS ...
the real power at present is in the hands of another lady from italy. earlier indira was a very powerful pm of the country (i think that u know that the post of pm is more powerful than president in our country, though it has been devalued now, as m m singh is just a puppet in the hands of sonia). so what can pra patil do for women now? as it is her only qualification, bcoz of which she is going to b president, is that she is die hard, proven and loyal supporter of the dynasty since the days of emergency.
u can expect her to work for the italian lady, that way she will serve the women's empowerment. she will empower sonia further.
