Nursery Schools floored in karnataka
by R Balasubramanian on Jul 20, 2007 04:59 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

These scoundrels wake up only after calamity and loss of life. These idiots do not know the value of life. What were they doing till now. Is it the duty of Lokayukta to find out how the schools work? What are the inspectors and DEOs of Educational Dept., doing. These fellows should be dismissed and meeted with exemplary punishment for the others to be cautious and more careful.
Karnataka can boast of the most corrupted state in India. Days are not far when KRS will be encroached by Reddys, Gowdas and Khans who are currently in Real Estate business in Bangalore.
with hapazard constructions of commercial and residential complexes throwing all norms in the wind with the connivance of Corporation officials, days are not far that, Bangalore will face the same fate that of Mumbai like crashing of buildings, water logging during rainy seasons and spread of epedemic diseases which will be very dear to the people. The Graveyard convered to residential plots will be back as Graveyard.

Well said Balu.
I have lived in Bangalore for morethan fifteen years except for a short break of 5 years. If anyone keeps saying that Bangalore is a Garden city it is the hight of hypocracy. All the old flavors of Bangalore has vanished and the current trend is lawlessness - government machinery is old and sick rather defunct - example the glaring Intelligent weakness which lead to the city getting a bad name of harbouring terrorism, lack of civic sense and courtesy. People are only after money and are addicted to narcotic, pub and other illegal activities. So it is futile to keep calling Bangalore - Bengaluru Garden City.

Atleast Karnataka Govt has learnt the lesson and doing something about this. But in Tamilnadu no lessons learnt yet. Just take KUMBAKONAM FIRE TRAGEDY in which scores of girs were burnt alive in the school due to fire accident three years ago. But the TN Govt yet to make any law for preventing this like installation of fire extinguishers etc., . Instead of doing this, the stupid Govt is building a memorial at the cost of Rs.65 lakhs. Height of non-sense. Instead this amount could hv been used for providing fire extinguishers & other equipments in other schools in the name of those children. This could hv been better memory.
