dear left and upa, when it was said about abdhul kalam you had many critieria like that it has to be a politician and so on. now where is this criteria in the selection of vice president. i again state that people of india should be given the power to elect their president.

Why dont you file a Public Interest Litigation in the High/Supreme Court challenging the Constitution of India instead of complaining on this forum.

President of India does not have powers which affect common people directly as that of PM, therefore people of india should not be given the power to elect their president. It would be an unnecessary expenditure for such elections.
