Double standards...
by Palani Kumar on Jul 20, 2007 10:38 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

Looks like no one from the government is walking the talk. We have Indian doc who is in custody and not a single soul from India/Australia to help him out. While the courts have held him innocent, he still continues to languish in jail. If it were an American or any white, the whole trial would have been different. While we are helpless, we hope the government or some politician does something to bail him out.

Court did not held him innocent, court just granted bail. Do you understand diffrence in that? Govt of India doesnt have guts to tell Australians that deport the suspect here and we shall investigate our citizen and send your observers here. Moreover GOI's track record while dealing with terrorists and terror suspects is very bad so Australia will not trust India.

This should be the spirit of all of us. Being Indian we should give them befittef reply. We shoud exert pressure upon our own Govt to fight for its citizens and to prove that we are also powerful as GORAS( needless to say most of them are bastar and and have no respect for non- GORAS
