Almost everyone is blaming the builders. But the fact is that a jeweller located in the ground floor of the building had knocked off the beam for renovation. Hence the collapse. Vardhaman Jewellers also did not heed to repeated warnings from members of the society.

If it true, then alongwith Vardhaman Jeweller , heads must roll from the BMC office who have given permissions to carry out this kind of structural modifications. It is very unfortunate that people have lost respect for other peoples lives in exchange of few more rupees.Whosoever is responsible for this tragedy has to be caught and punished in most severest way.
p.s.:Also, there are other citizens who should be more vigilant and responsive to whatever is happenning in their respective surroundings.
