i am amused at the bigoted views of the people on this discussion forum.They just wait for an opportunity to jump at the throat of a muslim whether he is in prosperity or in pain.This is the case of an Indian citizen who is apparently facing an unjust and racist experience for his alleged complicity in some terrorist plot.The word terrorism is a joke anyway especially when millions of innocent civilians are being day in day out with laser weapons,atomic weapons in iraq and afghanistan these hindus on this forum do not raise their although india is supposed to be as friendly to afghanistan as well to iraq.This is a mysterious political situation.A war for materialistic profit is on against the poorer natioins fo the world. Dr.Haneef is detained in a free democratic country and in not some barbaric islamic country.If indeed he is blamless truth will be set him free.
Meanwhile let us ponder, what is it that drives these educated Indian muslims to terrorise a country,with which India has no hostility.By their acts they have brought shame to fellow countrymen.

Mr. ashrawi: It is indeed very strange that you call others stupid & ignorant & blame everyone else (especially Hindus) when the real problem is with your Islamic terrorists in most places around the world (& those passive supportes in millions who condone at least by ommission the acts of such people by their deadly silence.) If Islam really wants to be the religion of PEACE, how come Muslims do not come out in hoardes to condemn the acts of their jihadi co-religionists & disown/stop them??? Who blows up innocent people routinely in India, & drove out very peaceful Hindu Pandits out of Kashmir?? What about these well-educated Indian muslims who put India to shame around the globe? Did you so conviniently forget that Islamic al-queda/taliban from Afganistan killed 3000 innocent victims, including muslims, in NY? Unfortunately, in Iraq, most innocent people are killed by the same exremist breed of Sunnis & Shias nurtured largely by their religious extrememism, where America also shares blame. Surely all Muslim terrorists are victims of unjust and racist trials. This is the real problem with you Muslims and such arguments are precisely why you lot are so much despised all over the non-Muslim world.When will you lot ever accept that there are a lot of very very evil and envious Muslim fanatics who wish nothing but terrible harm upon the civilised infidel world and who are constantly defended by the wider so called moderate Muslim world. Thank God Islam is a religion of peace. Just imagine what would have happened if it was a religion of violence.

Rhazes Ashrawi, I agree there is bigotry. It exists in all communities is't it. I am not justifying it. I doubt any Hindu on this board ever supported Iraq war. Unless one is insane individual, no one can condemn America for dismantling the Taliban lunatics. Many Hindus, including myself are morbidly afraid of Sharia. It is imposed by terrorism only. Rediff is giving an open forum. Zafar shah was freedom fighter- Ok who was Yahaya Khan, who ordered the rape and murder of all Hindus in Bangladesh. The fellow is still alive and well. If he pulled the same stunt with Christians, the guy would have hanged along with his 90k army. He is and his gang of rapists are ok, because Hindus rule India. The whole notion that when ever an activity intended to kill people indiscriminately occurs, Islam and Muslim comes to mind-not just for Hindus, for every one in the world. That image has to change. The so called Islamic terrorists do not make even 1 millionth of 1% of the Muslims of the world. But you see, India was captured by less than 1000 Middle Eastern terrorists in the name of holy war. Therefore even one terrorist is one too many.
