Nehru the Great

from Sylhet, Bangladesh.
What position India occupies today either in economic or in political field in the international platform is attributable to the ethics of Gandhiji and the leadership of Pandit Nehru. The concept of Five Year Plans and giving importance to agriculture in the First plan, industries in the second and cottage industries in the third plan reveal what a great farsight he had. Many are trying to question his leadership now in 2007 but in 1947, it was a different situation altogether. Nehru might have personal relations with Edwina or anybody else. How far does the sense work when many people in India question Nehru's leadership over the issue of relations with Edwina. The new generation Indians seem to be concentrating much on IT, BBA/MBA and other materialistic approaches and aspects. History, Ethics are going to be 'withered' subjects. Sanskrit, one of the richest languages has been brutally killed (it is often called a dead subject) by the Indians in its basic land. Knowing Pandit Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi is synonimous with knowing thyself, my dear brothers and sisters. Don't blame them. If the present Indians fail to resist one Afridi (Shahid Khan Afridi, the cricketer), how it was possible for Nehru to resist 400 Afridis 60 years ago. (400 Afridis - the Pathan tribal Group invaded Kashmir after 1947).
