Don't miss the point

Or may be guys, who have written below, fail to understand that may be this relationship helped india in getting a better deal and we didn't loose hyderabad, kashmir during partition. There was no other option than to create pakistan or a hindu majority country would have to be ruled by jinnah, fundamentalist. So don't talk crap and forget nehru's love life. As long as he did his job alright, i feel we shouldn't criticize hime. also look at clinton, whatever his personal life may be, he was perhaps the best us president of all times.
so don't just criticize, use your brains. And wake up indians. We look for equality when we go abroad and at home we practise casteism, look down at lower classes.
Correct your attitude if you want to help india. Criticize corruption when others do and follow it in our own backyards. Have you paid bribes to babus, have you encroached on government land. Probably all of us have. So guys don't talk like a saint.

Exactly on Sardhar Vallabhai Patel!!! Patel was a very wise/brave man and had a widen vision for greater India. But unfortunately, Patel didnt have enough support from the Congress party basically ruled by MKGandhi & JLNehru. In fact, there was always some rift/conflict between Patel and Nehru on many policies. Patel was against the India-Pakistan partition, also against article 370 for Kashmir. Even Patel warned everybody on the consequences and problems in giving article 370 for Kashmir. Unfortunately, nobody listened to this wise man and now we are paying heavy penalty and it will be a never ending story. who knows, India might have been much better had only SVPatel was made to PM after Independence. But shrewed politicians MKG and JLN prevented that to happen. Remember, becos of SVPatel, all the 569 small countries were integrated to Republic of India. JLN only handled Kashmir and left it in great mess. Now, people are praising a lot about MKG and JLN but the hard truth is, these two were the real culprits for all the problems we have now in our country. MKG had broken the backbone of Indians' braveness/guts by asking to follow "Ahimsa/Sathyagraha" for independence; now, we are unable to fight against any terrorism, think about 1999/Dec IC hijack, Government of India realeased the criminals to save the passengers instead of fight & thrash the terrorist; think about 2000/Dec Parliament attack, we still not yet thrashed the terrorist behind that.
