Energy is the most important need for Indians to survive meaningfully in the next coming decades. We will have chaos and anarchy in our society, if we can't handle the needs of our EXPLODING POPULATION.

There are better options for fuel. we defenitly have the technology if we can negotiate for uranium with producers like Niger, and other african countries. its not bad as being projected. Its just that we need to give a free hand to our scientists . may be they dont understand the politics of winning a nobel prize, but they are surely capable of it.

THERE IS LITTLE OPTION, EITHER SIGN THE DEAL WTH AMERICA OR THE NPT WHICH IS SIGNED BY 196 COUNTRIES, ELSE THE NUCLEAR REACTORS STOP WORKING SOON DUE TO LACK OF FUEL.
BE REALISTIC & DONT CONSIDER THE ADVICE OF LOCAL SCIENTISTS WHO LAST WON A NOBEL PRIZE IN 1930. MOST DEFENCE PROJECTS HAVE FAILED EG. ARJUN TANK, TEJAS FIGHER.
