I can understand US motive to persuade Musharaff in taking a tough stand against the radical islamists holding hostages in the Lal Masjid, but what could be Chinese motivation to do so?
The so called security expert did not give any reason for his speculation about the chinese involvement in the Lal Masjid episode

you are right sumanta, i guess one or more of chinese engineers were killed. So china wanted paki government to do something to prove that they are in charge. Mush needed an army to flush 100 odd folks inside a masjid

while am no raman supporter & FYI if you didnt know raman was former senior official from RAW, so he will know better any day. More so, indications to why chinese could have done that is here..
