Jinnah never spent a day in Jail fighting against British
by Bhaskar Chattopadhyay on Jul 12, 2007 07:12 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Its not surprizing that today China is dictating Pakistan. Pakistan never followed independent policy.

Pakistan was the result of pro-british stand taken by Indian Muslims since 1857. Jinnah never spent a day in Jail fighting against British.

It was licking Western boot after its creation. Now its licking China's feet as well.

It was British who gave life to Jinnah!
He never spent a day in jail.
In his fifties he married a parsi school girl in Bombay and this girl though became pregnant with Jinnah refused to go to Pakistan! and remained in Bombay and hoisted indian flag on the balcony of her house.
Jinnah never participated in any freedom movement , including Mahatma's dandi march ,I think.
So, finally he divided the country but one good thing about him was that he liked Hindus (and mortally afraid of hindus' intelligence)and wanted them to stay in Pakistan for its progress as secular country.
He wanted pakistan to be a secular country and a progressive one.
His dream was never fulfilled.
When Gandhi said that Jinnah can be prime minister of India as a final solution for Jinnah's demands (during 25 meetings of Mahatma with Jinnah ,pleading with him not to divide the country)
Jinnah kept mum, totally silent. His demand for creating pakistan evaporated.
But sardar patel said Indian people will not agree for Jinnah to become prime minister.
Finally Pakistan was created and Jinnanh in the end was totally disappointed and regretted for creating it.
