People to people communication is necessary and movement anyway happens across the borders ... either legal or illegal !
Commies have already done tha in many states including Mumbai. Crores of Bangladeshis are already here.
Now when I say trains are necessary .. becoz we have to keep our contacts with our neighbours. India, being a bigger neighbour has the responsibility of keeping its relations in cordial ways.
India can not alone progress and get richer while Bangladesh, Nepal, Pak & SL will go bankrupt. Even though its not India's fault, adverse economics will have adverse effect on the nation-nation relations.
Its like having your bunglow (or a villa)in the middle of slums ...

Dear friend, I beg to differ with you. To keep contact with our neighbours, there are other routes, like obtain your legal visa to go, and take your flight. You can send e-mails, posts, etc to remain in touch. This train service will ultimately result in illegal Bangladeshis coming into India, remember Bangladesh is a heaven for anti-India operations directly and also thorugh ISI of Pak. Therefore they may also use this route. Like Pak, Bangladesh Govts also thrives on anti-India sentiments. Therefore this train service should not be encouraged.
Adverse economic conditions should not affect the relationship between naions. In Europe, highly developed countries like Germany, Britain, Netherlands, France, etc. co-exist with poor countries or not so developed countries like Kazak, Krygyztan, kosovo, serbia, etc, etc.
It is not necessary that India being a bigger country has the responsibility of keeping its relations in cordial ways with its neighbour, at the cost of its own welfare. It should be the common interest of all the nations to co-exist in a peaceful and progressive manner. India is not expected to be remain a silent spectator, when Bangladesh is illegally importing crores of population year after year, and taking anti-Indian stance in each and every International forum, and taking a very rigid stance in the water dispute issue also. India should learn from China, and Israel as to how to deal and behave under such circumstances. Let us hope India lear
