Mumbai, 7th July 2007:
Killing innocent is a heinous crime and condemnable but Blaming And suspecting Muslims and Islamic Organizations after every terrorist act is a very dangerous trend followed by the investigation agencies and the media all over the world, observed, Engineer Nazar Mohammed Madu, President Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Maharashtra.
He also welcomes the statements by our Prime Minister, Dr. Man Mohan Singh and his counter part in Britain, Mr. Gordon Brown for not associating Islam or Muslim or any religion or community with the terrorism.
Engineer Nazar Mohammed also rubbished the claim of SIO being banned in a recent report by Vicky Nanjappa from Banglore, Dated 6th July, 2007, published in the Rediff.com and term the report as misleading and defamatory where a reporter did not even bother to verify the Facts. Nazar Mohammed said that Students Islamic Organization of India, SIO is an ideological organization working in the country for preparing students and youth for the reconstruction of society in the divine guidance.
He also denied a report in gcbullettin.co.au where it is alleged%u201D Simi originally emerged as the student wing of the Jamaat-e Islami Hind.%u201D He further added that SIMI was never associated with Jamaat-e-Islami Hind and its SIO who is related with Jamaat and working in India since 1982.
