Can Indian government intervene?

Indian government should do something for this family. Tomorrow u or me could also be caught some where and branded a terrorist. It is difficult to distinguish sugar and salt from a distance.

Ghulam is fighting for the release of terrorist who tried to blast parliament.
So, he can easily fight for haneef like persons.
He needs votes at the cost of national security.
But it is australia where this dirty vote bank policies will not work.
