innocent ? I dont think so...

The family has so much confidence he is innocent...but noone cared to explain why he was on a plane out of australia with a one way ticket...

You have to give benefit of the doubt to him until proven guilty. May be he happened to know the other guys (or at the least the other Indian doctor in trouble who is also from Bangalore) while he was in UK - and may be the reason to move to Australia to get away from these guys. May be the other Indian called him over the phone during trouble for help. Knowing the circumstances, he might have gotten scared or needed his family support - so he bought a one-way ticket to India (not Pakistan). I am sure he knows India would deport him without any hesitation if he is wanted. Overall, I think he got scared because he knew the intentions of the other guys while he was in UK.
