Who built this bridge ?
by Rackat Kanakam on Jul 04, 2007 07:05 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Discussions on this project will lead to the age-old debate on who built this bridge. As per mythology, monkey look alike people who lived in that area built it and there were agitations in Tamilnadu in the 60s to forego this theory. Then who built this so called bridge ?

One should clearly understand that we are living in a society which is a mixture of all religions, caste, creed and this society also contains Atheists. If we start analyzing who build this bridge this will go on as an endless debate. Being an Atheist or Theist is individual sentiment. But, both should not cross their limits. If Theist consider this bridge is sacred to them, Atheist should respect their views and should not act against it. This should be understood by Atheist like Karunanidhi and TR Baalu. If they dont, I am very sorry to say that they have hurt sentiments of lakhs of Hindus who believe in Ramar Bridge and can consider India as a non secular country.

They are equivalent to Taliban destroying the Bamiyan Buddhas
